Eva Lukkonen Sullivan, MM MA CCC-SLP came to her current role as speech pathologist specializing in voice from the background of a singer and performer in opera and musical theatre. She graduated from the University of Southern California as well as California State University Long Beach with advanced degrees in opera/voice, performed at the Aspen Music Festival, and sang with numerous companies in Southern California, including Opera Pacific and Long Beach Opera.

Her experiences and training led her to work with Dr. Joel Ewing out of Los Angeles, who inspired her to turn her attention toward not only training the singing voice but helping singers and professional voice users who have injured or lost their voices get their voice back. After competing her Masters in Speech Pathology at CSU Long Beach, she was selected for the prestigious Clinical Fellowship at the Emory Voice Center in Atlanta.  It was there that she continued to gain invaluable experience in voice and its care, as well as working with dysphagia (swallowing disorders) and individuals undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer.

Since then, Eva has continued to work with national recording artists and Grammy award winning singers, professional voice users from all walks of life, and anyone experiencing difficulties with their voice or swallowing.

She has presented at the Georgia American Speech Language and Hearing Association's annual conference 2009, 2016 and 2017 on working with voice and especially the singing voice, and continues to teach voice privately as well as work with Dr. Gadlage and many of the laryngologists and otolaryngologists in the greater Atlanta area.

Upcoming singing engagements include joining the Atlanta Opera chorus for their 2017-2018 season, and she continues to be active in outreach to the community for voice and vocal health education.
